PMA 2003, LAS VEGAS, March 2, 2003 – Fuji Photo Film U.S.A, Inc. is proud to introduce its New FUJICHROME Sensia 100, a new ISO 100-rated color slide film designed to appeal to photo enthusiasts. In addition to achieving top-level granularity among ISO 100 slide films, New Sensia 100 also delivers exceptional skin tones, faithful color reproduction and the flexibility of broad exposure latitude. This new color slide film promises enhanced image quality for a broad range of situations, from portraits and snapshots to landscape and nature photography.

"Fujifilm is committed to providing our consumers with the latest advances in photo film technology," said Joe Vaughey, Senior Brand Manager, Consumer Film, Consumer Markets Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. "The New Sensia 100 uses innovative technology to offer exceptional image quality to the photo enthusiast with lifelike color and clarity in each and every photo."

New Sensia 100 features include:

  • Exceptional granularity
Featuring Fujifilm's proprietary Multi-Structured Sigma Crystal technology, New Sensia 100 delivers world-class granularity to meet the demanding standards of photo enthusiasts.
  • Faithful color reproduction
The new color couplers and Multi-Color-Correction Layer technology provide a new level of color fidelity, enabling this film to accurately reproduce the true colors of a variety of subjects in portraits, snapshots and scenery. This enhanced emulsion also offers unprecedented stable performance in a variety of lighting conditions.
  • Excellent skin tones and gradation balance
The ability to reproduce skin texture and tones has been improved for smooth, natural rendition in portraits and snapshots. This enhanced performance is maintained across a broad exposure latitude.

The New FUJICHROME Sensia family of color slide films, including the current Sensia 200 and 400 versions, is suited for a wide range of applications, from projection to enlarged color prints.

The New Sensia 100 will be available in the third quarter of 2003 on an inventory turnover basis, replacing the current Sensia 100.
