A fine art major in college, Beverly Gustafson was always looking for a way to fulfill her need to be creative.

Photography has filled that need beautifully, allowing her to use her design skills and artistic talent to create images that speak of her love of nature, and all the beauty found there.

Beverly picked up her first camera just over 4 years ago, and took to photography like a fish to water. Digital photography was a natural choice for her, since it combined her desire for instant gratification with her love of computer graphics. Working in her digital darkroom, she has developed many award winning photographs, as well as creating custom pieces for family and friends.

Self taught in all aspects of her craft, Beverly strives to improve her techniques through club affiliations, web tutorials, and the help of fellow photographers. Attending workshops on Photoshop and studying the works of photographers she admires also help to broaden her knowledge, and keeps her interest high.
